The detail Box
The details box is one of the most essential pieces of material for a wedding day. It’s what starts the day off right.
When I arrive the first thing I will do after saying "hello" is jumping into photographing your details. Having a bag or box off all the important details you want photographed ready to go is a HUGE time saver. I love to capture all the tiny details and I want to be able to take my time. If we have to gather everything up it can take away time from shooting!
Not sure what to put in your detail box? Well, that is what I am here for! Below is a list of items you can include in your details.
The bride
- Her shoes
- All jewelry + all the rings (please keep in a small ring box!)
- Headpieces (veils, clips, crowns, etc.)
- Copies of wedding stationary with envelopes (invites, thank you cards, programs)
- Perfume
- Lipstick
- Garters
- Flowers (if you have extra flowers that are not attached that would be awesome!)
- Anything special to the bride or groom that can help style your detail shots
- Pretty dress hanger (a nice hanger can really change up the vibe of your details!)
The Groom
- His shoes
- Pocket square, tie, bowtie
- Belt
- Socks (if patterned)
- Cologne
- Cufflinks
- Watch
- Any important pieces that will help stylize the shot!
