Photographer Statement

We all want to see the world as our wildest dreams. We all want to relive the most special moments in our lives over and over again. We all want to take a moment in our day and take a pause to look around to see how blessed we are to do what we do. Photography is a well-known secret to covering all these moments that we want to look back on forever. Wedding photographers are a legacy when it comes to your special day. Years from now, you will want to look back on your images and still feel the same emotions and impact just like you were standing in the same space then. Having a legacy is something that I do not take lightly with Peyton Elizabeth Photography & Design. My style of photography is living in the moment and capturing the best version of yourself.

There are little moments during the day that might not be worth capturing in your eyes. But I see each and every moment as an opportunity to tell the story that makes up you and your loved ones. Think of all of the detailed images, portraits, and in-the-moment photographs as the building blocks of your unfolding story. You will find my work to be the little tear from your grandparents that you could not see from the altar, the dance moves from your 5-year-old niece, and the collaboration that is happening to make sure everything is flawless.

This is what leads to my favorite images of couples who let their guard down and realize that they are perfect just the way they are. My goal with every wedding and photoshoot is to capture the photos that will turn into a family heirloom, the stop-in-the-moment that shows the raw version of yourself, and a space that is intimate behind all the chaos that has happened leading up to the day. In the end, everyone loves the in-the-moment images that you can feel the intentions behind the person.
